Since the Stonewall Riots took place in 1969, New York City’s The Stonewall Inn has stood as a beacon for the global LGBTQ+ Pride movement. That work continues today through the Inn’s charitable arm, the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, which provides safe space certification and assistance to grassroots initiatives advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms worldwide.

To mark the launch of Brooklyn Brewery’s The Stonewall Inn IPA, from which partial proceeds will go to support SIGBI’s ongoing work, we made these social films with Stonewall Inn co-owner Stacy Lentz, giving an insight into the Inn’s history and the work it continues to do today around the world.
