Social media video production in London
We’ve made social content and campaigns for some of the world’s most well-known brands.
We offer specialist social media video production for agencies and brands, and have worked with organisations around the world to make powerful social-first videos that earn the attention of viewers across the social media landscape, from Instagram and LinkedIn to YouTube and TikTok.
Whether you just need help with production, or support all the way through – from creating ideas to delivery of the finished product – we’re set up to fit around the different requirements of everyone we work with.

Brooklyn Brewery is the Official Beer of Glastonbury Festival, and as festival-goers made their way to Worthy Farm, we headed out with street interview aficionado Snake Denton to take the temperature on all things Glastonbury, from dance moves to festival fashion.

Our social media video production services
We’re set up to fit around your requirements, whether it’s working with you from start to finish, delivering a bank of ready-to-use material that you can then build on in-house, or just completing the filming for you. Here’s what we can offer.
Social strategy
We can schedule an intro call to talk about your goals, audience, and where you want to share your social content so that we can make recommendations based on our experience (and the latest research) to give you the best chance of success.
Concept development
We can work with you to develop and finesse a range of creative concepts – whether that’s for scroll-stopping reels, social ads, or short-form storytelling – so that they are ready for production and optimised for launch across different social media platforms.
Different sizes, different platforms
From vertical to landscape and everything in between, we’re used to shooting for all delivery formats to make sure your brand looks great, whatever the screen size.
Batch filming for better output
Always-on social media needs a lot of content, and good planning can drastically increase the amount of video you can get out of a shoot. With the final product in mind, we’ll work with you to create the optimum schedule for the shoot, minimising stress and maximising output for both campaigns and day-to-day content.
Quick turnarounds
Timelines for social media video production can be tight, especially if you’re running a reactive campaign. We’re set up to be agile and flexible, working with smaller crews and faster post-production turnaround times.
Dove:
The Self-Esteem Project
The Dove Self-Esteem Project tackles the harmful impact of low body esteem among young people, and the latest stage of their research-driven campaign looks at the effects that social media is having on children and teenagers around the world.
We filmed this candid conversation between Candice Brathwaite and Self Esteem about the impact social media has on their own lives. Posted across Candice Brathwaite, Self Esteem and Dove’s Instagram channels, the films reached more than 16 million viewers.
Amazon:
Chatterbox
This series of funny short-form films was designed to put the spotlight squarely on real people from across Amazon’s UK workforce.
Now in its third season, the series has built an audience for itself across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and the Amazon Chatterbox microsite.
Social media video FAQs
-
Social-first video production is simply video production that is geared towards delivery on a social media platform. A number of creative and technical decisions may be made to maximise the chance of success for that format.
-
The "safe zone" on Instagram refers to the area of the screen that doesn't have parts of the Instagram user interface superimposed on top of it. For more on this, you can check out our guide to the safe zone for Instagram reels.
-
LinkedIn can be a great platform for video content, especially if you're primarily a B2B brand or company. In 2023, the most successful social campaign we worked on saw its best performance on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is also trialling a dedicated in-app feed for short-form vertical video. So if you're not already experimenting with this on LinkedIn, we'd suggest giving it a try!
-
Videos can perform very well on Facebook, but we would also say that organic reach is becoming increasingly difficult across Meta platforms and we would recommend that clients consider paid promotion here. If organic reach is the goal then some of the other platforms may deliver better results.
-
Yes we can. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes can bring a lot to the table and see new and exciting ways for leveraging social video for your brand or organisation. We would count this as part of pre-production.
-
The best length for a social media video depends on a few factors: the strength and style of the content, which platform(s) it will be published on, how established and loyal your existing audience is, and how visually engaging your content is.
For social ads and pre-roll, we recommend sticking to the 6-second and 15-second standards.
For everything else, shorter is often better but there also now some notable exceptions to buck this trend. So we'd recommend experimenting with different lengths on different platforms. You can read more about this in our backgrounder on short-form video content.
In keeping with the beer’s tagline ‘Worth the Walk’, we produced this series of micro-documentaries that puts the spotlight squarely on people doing amazing things in – and for – the Lake District. Across a three-day shoot on location, we filmed everything we needed to make nine social-first mini-docs, three additional social assets, and a bank of standalone graded clips for the agency’s in-house team to work with.
