Keeping Grenfell Athletic FC Moving
Grenfell Athletic Football Club was founded in 2017 to bring the local community together in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire. Six years on, many of the players and people involved with Grenfell Athletic FC have started their own businesses, and the club has become a place not just for football but for local people to help each other and the wider Grenfell community.
We worked with agency Goldbug to make a film marking the start of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz Vans UK and Grenfell Athletic Football Club. Mercedes-Benz Vans donated two eVito Tourer vans so the team can travel to matches together and put the vehicles to use as their businesses and community projects grow. They also brought along businessman and host of “The Diary of a CEO” podcast Steven Bartlett to give tips and advice.
With thanks to Tia Best, Bobby Ross, Joseph John, Rupert Taylor, and the entire Grenfell Athletic team and community.
The film was featured on Sky News, Metro and the Daily Mirror.
