Let your clients do the talking.

Rob Pinney Studio produces case study and testimonial videos for B2B brands and organisations — real clients, telling the story of what you did for them, in their own words. They're a core part of our corporate video production work, and often the most persuasive asset a B2B brand owns.

You work directly with us from brief to delivery, with a fixed quote agreed from the outset.

Behind the scenes on a corporate video production shoot in London

What we make

Client case study films

Interview and b-roll, telling one customer's story from the challenges they faced to how you solved them. Usually 90–180 seconds, with social cutdowns.

Customer testimonial videos

Shorter, direct-to-camera endorsements, often filmed as a series in a single day. These can be easily recut to suit different platform requirements.

Multi-subject case study series

Several customer stories filmed across multiple days, edited as a set with a consistent look and feel. Best if you need social proof for a broader campaign to run across several weeks or months.

Tide
Customer Story Film

How it works

Brief

Tell us who the client is and what the story is. We'll work on the shape of the film and present that to you with a fixed quote.

Preparation

We develop the interview questions and narrative structure, and handle the logistics with your client directly if that's easier for you.

The shoot

Usually a full day at your client's offices with a two-person crew — we're used to filming in working environments without getting in the way.

The edit

We’ll edit the material together into a compelling hero film, plus cutdowns for social, with review rounds for your feedback included.

AdvisoryAI
Customer Story Film

What if admin took care of itself? Financial advisors Freddie, David and Neil tell the story of how Brooks Macdonald transformed client meetings by using AdvisoryAI – a simple change, with big consequences.

Why case study videos work

Nobody believes a company describing itself. They believe your clients. A case study video puts a real customer's face, voice and results in front of your prospects — and because we film genuine conversation rather than scripted lines, the endorsement is credible in a way written testimonials never quite manage.

It's usually the single most persuasive asset in a B2B sales process: on the website, in the deck, in the follow-up email.

We also create detailed explainer videos, which can be produced with one of your team as part of the same project.

Cera Care
Client case study for Faculty

One of a series of customer testimonial films produced for Faculty, the UK’s leading applied AI firm. They wanted the film to show the very real human impact of the technology, so the film leads with the people at Cera Care that use it the most: the carers themselves.

FAQs

How much does a case study video cost?

Most single-film projects fall between £4,000 and £6,000, covering pre-production, a full day of filming with a two-person crew, and the edit of a hero film plus social cutdowns. Multi-subject series filmed over several days typically range from £6,000 up to around £15,000. You'll have a fixed quote before anything is booked.

Do you interview our clients yourselves?

Yes — and it's usually better that way. We prepare questions in advance and film a relaxed conversation rather than a script, which is what makes the finished film feel credible. Your client doesn't need any media experience; putting people at ease on camera is a core part of the job.

Can you film at our client's offices?

Yes, that's the norm — case study videos work best in the client's own environment. We film across London and the UK and we're used to working around a business's normal day.

How long should a case study video be?

For most B2B uses, 90–180 seconds for the hero film, with 30-second cutdowns for social. Longer versions have their place — some testimonial formats run to several minutes for use in sales conversations — and we'll recommend the right lengths for how you plan to use the film.

What do we need to prepare?

Very little. We need a willing client, a filming location, and an hour or two of their time on the day. We handle question development, structure, and everything technical.
