Complicated things, explained by the people who know them best.

Every business has something that takes too long to explain. An explainer video fixes that — a short film in which the people behind your product or service set out what it does, how it works, and why it matters. We've produced them for companies like Faculty, whose team used a series of short explainers to show businesses how to get AI right, and they're a core part of our corporate video production work.

You work directly with us from brief to delivery, with a fixed quote agreed from the outset.

Faculty
Corporate Explainer Videos

Faculty needed a production partner to create a set of short explainer videos describing the common challenges companies and organisations face when adopting AI. We set up a mobile studio on location and ran a one-day shoot to create this series of films.

Real people, not animation

Most explainer videos are animated. Ours aren't — and that's a deliberate choice. When a real person from your team explains something clearly on camera, the film does two jobs at once: it explains, and it builds trust in the people behind the product.

Why explainer videos work

People don't buy what they don't understand — and most companies don’t explain themselves as well as they think because they are too close to their product or service. An explainer video forces the discipline of a clear, short answer, then puts it where it works hardest: in front of your customers.

How it works

Brief

Tell us what needs explaining and who it's for. We'll agree the shape of the film — or the series — and a fixed quote.

Script and structure

Explainers live or die on clarity, so we spend pre-production getting the argument right. Depending on the film, that's could be a full script or a tight question structure that keeps the delivery natural.

The shoot

Usually a day at your offices with a two-person crew. A series can often be filmed in a single day.

The edit

A clear, well-paced film — plus cutdowns for social — with review rounds included.

Explainer video production in London

We're based in London and film explainers at client offices across the city, as well as nationally. If you're London-based, a half-day shoot at your offices is often all a single explainer needs.

We also make case study and testimonial videos, often as part of the same project.

FAQs

How much does an explainer video cost?

Most single-film explainer projects fall between £4,000 and £6,000, covering script development, a half or full day of filming with a two-person crew, and the edit. A series filmed together is more cost-effective per film, with multi-film projects typically ranging from £6,000 up to around £15,000. You'll have a fixed quote before anything is booked.

Do we need a script before we start?

No, writing the script is part of the job. For scripted explainers we'll develop the script with you during pre-production; for expert-led films we build a tight question structure instead, so the explanation stays natural while covering everything it needs to.

Do you make animated explainer videos?

No, our explainers are filmed with real people from your business on camera. If your project genuinely needs animation, we'll tell you honestly and point you in the right direction.

How long should an explainer video be?

Usually 60–120 seconds for a single film: long enough to explain properly, but short enough to hold attention. A series works differently: each film takes one question and answers it more succinctly.

Can you film a whole series in one day?

Often, yes. If the speakers and location are in one place, a full day is usually enough to film several short explainers — it's the most cost-effective way to build a library of content.
